Debut: Anime Matsuri

Why Organization XII Riku?:
Cuz I've made darn near every other one of his costumes already! ... But seriously, I know he wears it for all of like two cut scenes in the game, but he just looks so awesome in it! That and I had 8 yards of black moleskin that was calling to me to be sewn into a cosplay...

Favorite Aspect:
Um... Without sounding too conceited, my favorite thing about this is that I feel I did a good job on it. Organization coats are fairly overdone in the cosplay community, so it stands to reason that not all of them are great. A lot of them are quite innacurate too... It's understandable though, the coats style varies so much from the game, artwork, and manga. I used the artwork as a reference, since that is what the game graphics are based off of (don't use the manga as a reference, it taints the kingdom hearts costumes with it's evil disney influences).

Extra Notes:
It was a nightmare to make the coat in as little time as I had, but the actual pattern itself wasn't so difficult since it's the same coat pattern I used for Soubi. I DID have to make some creative changes as well as make a hood pattern from scratch, but it was still an interesting process to say the least... Especially the zipper...
