Debut: A-kon 17

Why Dark Magician?:
Secretly concealing my Yu-Gi-Oh! fandom, and since my girlfriend was going as a Dark Magician Girl without a Dark Magician, this costume was perfect. Completely constructed under the radar, my DMG didn’t know about this until the day of A-Kon; the same day this costume was finished >_<. Dark Magician was always one of my favorite cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, so in making this costume, I not only fulfilled a hidden love of the cryptic card game, but also the pleasure of escorting the cutest Dark Magician Girl ever around Dallas. ^_^

Favorite Aspect:
The wand..it was the only easy part. In a two week rush, my favorite part was wearing the costume. Actual construction was pain.....it still hurts... x_x
