Debut: A-kon 17

Why the Fork Ninja?:
This costume was pretty spontaneous, not to mention my first (and hopefully last) made-out-of-stuff-in-the-closet cosplay. The girls of JAC were doing food ninjas, so I got to thinking... Food? But wait.... where are the utensils? Thus, the Utensil Ninja Duo was born! My friend Gordon accompanied me as the Spoon Ninja, as I assumed the roll of Fork Ninja. These costumes looked decent, but I definitely plan on remaking them. The idea was too good, and deserves justice!

Favorite Aspect:
Well, we made them in the hotel room, but our red sashes made from red Asian brocade were my favorite touch. They were very silky and clean-looking, despite the fact that I “hemmed” them together with hot glue. xD. Also, the fork and spoon clip-on earrings! Gordon found doll house utensils, and the rest is history. They looked awesome, and will definitely remain a part of the costume remakes.
